You will coordinate production priorities, track work-in-progress, identify potential delays, and communicate status across teams to help hardware move through production on schedule.\nKey Duties / Responsibilities\nTrack work-in-progress from hardware receipt through completion and delivery.\nSupport daily and weekly production plans and help teams prioritize work.\nProvide hardware progress reports and production status updates to leadership and support organizations.\nCoordinate support to resolve production holds and manufacturing issues.\nWork with manufacturing, engineering, quality, planning, and leadership teams to address schedule and throughput obstacles.\nIdentify potential production risks and help address them before they affect operations.\nParticipate in process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.\nMonitor and help reduce idle jobs and stalled work orders.\nTrack system status and physical hardware locations on the production floor.\nWork Environment\nThis role combines shop-floor presence with computer-based production tracking in a manufacturing environment. It involves frequent interaction with production, engineering, quality, planning, and leadership teams, along with regular walking, standing, and movement throughout the manufacturing area. And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.\nJoin us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.\nBasic Qualifications\nTo be considered, candidates must meet all requirements listed:\nExperience in a manufacturing, production, operations, or shop-floor environment.\nExperience tracking, coordinating, or managing work orders, production schedules, inventory, hardware, or work-in-progress (WIP).\nAbility to communicate production status, coordinate priorities, and raise issues with production, engineering, quality, planning, and leadership teams.\nExperience using computer systems or business tools to track production status, schedules, and operational metrics.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.\nAbility and willingness to work rotating shifts, extended hours, second shifts, and overtime, including weekends, as required to meet production demands.\nAbility to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.\nDesired Skills\nNice-to-have skills that strengthen candidacy but are not required:\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nExperience with SAP or other manufacturing and production tracking systems.\nExperience supporting process or continuous improvement initiatives.\nFamiliarity with manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or high-reliability production environments.\nExperience with environmental, safety, health, or regulatory requirements.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
