You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are detail-oriented, and are motivated by the impact your models have on the success of critical defense programs.\nFurther Information About This Opportunity\nMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.\nAnalyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Engineering or a related discipline\n5 years of professional experience in support of a manufacturing facility or similar business\nExperience with discrete event simulation software\nKnowledge of statistics including distribution-fitting, variability, and statistical significance\nDesired Skills\nBachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering\nProficiency obtaining and prepping data through database systems, data prep tools, and Excel\nExperience with Simio Discrete Event Simulation\nExperience with SAP and a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)\nExperience with Tableau or similar visualization tools\nExperience with learning curve theory and future planning for manufacturing operations\nExperience presenting analytical information to high- level internal leaders\nAircraft production experience\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
