The team’s mission is to maintain the integrity and traceability of the software released by the program to its customers.\nAs a member of the Software Configuration team you will:\nTrack and install software on training devices\nMaintain database of program software and data\nAssign unique identifiers to software and data used by training devices\nPerform software installations on training devices\nSupport routine engineering reviews and configuration audits\nReview changes to software baseline to ensure compliance with configuration management policies\nEnsure that data and physical media have all appropriate labels and markings\nDisseminate data to the program and government customers\nNote: This position requires on-site presence in the Orlando office to meet client needs. Performs configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable. Designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development. Designs and implements build procedures that are used to support software product development and use. Develops software configuration standards and policies for company-wide use. Trains software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards. Maintains the Software Configuration Management System including collection or distribution of code documentation, problem report and change request processing, software build documents, and delivery of software products to operational environments. Implements long term organizational objectives for software process improvement (e.g., SEI CMM), compliance with ISO 9000 standards, and software code reuse.\nBasic Qualifications\n2 or more years of professional experience\nExperience using analytical skills to follow and understand relationships of hardware and software systems\nExperience analyzing data and workflow processes\nExperience with software tools and processes\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications\nUS Citizenship Required.\nDesired Skills\n\nExperience with Software Configuration Management in the Defense Industry\nExperience with software development and design\nExperience in software artifact storage systems such as Nexus or Artifactory\n• Demonstrated skills to solve problems and implement constructive change\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
