In this role, you will work within a team of software engineers to design, develop, test and maintain C-130J & C-5 software products. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of at least one programming language, experience in an Agile development environment, and have good communication and organizational skills.\nMust be a US Citizen; this position may require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.\nPlans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering with software programming coursework.\nExperience with at least one of the following software development languages required: C, C++, C#, or Ada.\nUnderstanding of Agile methodologies \nDesired Skills\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nExperience with complete software development lifecycle process and test philosophies\nExperience with tools in the development, integration, and test of complex software systems and environments.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $67000.00 - $124400.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
