Ensures software standards are met.\nServe as the F-35 Core Processing (CPSW) Software Architect.\nIn this role, the candidate will drive the F-35 CPSW\nsoftware architecture decisions for all F-35 contracts.\nThe candidate will be responsible for making highlevel\ndesign decisions, work to enforce technical\nstandards for all supported platforms and design for\nre-use and affordability. This will require significant\nexperience with F-35 Mission Systems architecture,\ndisplay software, and knowledge of how F-35\nCPSW fit into the F-35 architectural paradigm. The\nsuccessful candidate will also have experience with\nmultiple software architectures, including\nboth core processing infrastructures and applications to\nsupport architecture decisions. The\ncandidate will be required to interface with the\ncustomer so must have a strong knowledge of how\nthe ultimate customer uses the software, how to\ninteract with those users in a supportive, but\nbusiness-wise manner. In addition, the candidate will\nevaluate and recommend tools, technologies and\nprocesses to ensure the highest quality product.\nFinally, the candidate will be required to work in an\nagile software development environment and\ncoordinate with Product Owners and other peer\norganizations to ensure the design and\nimplementation of display software to address the\nfor solutions by means of data processing\nequipment. Ensures\nsoftware standards are met.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors degree required in Computer Science and\nor Software Engineering. Experience in the following:\nTechnical Lead experience\nCPI architectures typically found in aircraft\nsystems\nMiddleware, firmware, drivers, and core processing software language\nimplementations typically found in aircraft systems\nsoftware development in C++ specifically aimed\nat embedded avionics and aircraft systems\nscripting experience (Python, Perl, etc.)\noperating systems (Green Hills, Linux, etc.) for\nembedded Real-Time environments used in avionic\nand aircraft systems\ndesign, integration and test of embedded display\nsystems and software operational programs.\ncomplete software lifecycle development process\nand automated test philosophies\nAgile/Scrum Development\nIn this role, you must have demonstrated effective\ncommunication skills as the position will require\nfrequent inter-organizational and outside customer\ninteractions. The successful candidate will have\nexperience and or knowledge of the ability to\nsupport frequent travel for integration and test\nactivities is required.
