These ISR systems task, collect, process, analyze, fuse and disseminate the most mission-critical information. Oversee the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. You will work directly with domain and industry experts and technical staff that design and manage software development activities.\nThe Work:\nPlans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.\nBasic Qualifications\nRequired Degree: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field\nRequired Experience: 9 years of software development experience (or 7 years with a Master’s degree in a relevant field)\nRequired Security Clearance: DoD Secret clearance (as specified)\nProven experience designing, developing, testing, and debugging complex software systems\nProficiency in relevant programming languages, development tools, and the full software development life cycle (SDLC)\nProven proficiency in C++ with extensive experience developing high-performance computing applications, including modern C++ standards (C++11/14/17/20), object-oriented, generic, and functional programming, and performance-critical system design for signal processing or computational workloads\nApplied knowledge of computer hardware/software, business/mission applications, and information processing techniques\nExperience correcting program errors, preparing operating instructions, compiling development documentation, and analyzing system capabilities\nStrong ability to ensure software standards are met across the development life cycle\nDesired Skills\nStrong foundation in discrete mathematics, linear algebra, probability/statistics, and algorithm design/analysis\nDemonstrated experience with algorithm optimization, complexity analysis (Big-O), and applied mathematical modeling for signal processing, simulation, or data-intensive applications\nProficiency in developing and verifying algorithms for real-time, embedded, or high-throughput computational workloads\nPractical experience with electromagnetic signal analysis, radar/communications interception, or electronic support measures (ESM)\nFamiliarity with signal cataloging, modulation analysis, frequency-domain processing, or ELINT system architecture\nUnderstanding of DoD ELINT tradecraft, signal intelligence pipelines, or integration with sensor environments is highly desirable\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $135700.00 - $251900.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
