This role will support the F-35/ADP Mission Systems Interface and Build team as a Software Engineering Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of approximately 25 software engineers in the design, development, delivery, and support of Mission Systems interfaces and builds.\nCore Responsibilities:\nManages software development activities across a multitude of host systems, including aircraft software, simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations.\nOversees the design, development, infrastructure and tools, delivery, documentation, and engineering support of Mission Systems software interfaces and builds.\nApplies knowledge of computer hardware and software, including system software design, deployment, and integration, AI, automation, CI/CD tooling, and IT infrastructure, to address business and mission-critical problems.\nApplies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Ensures software standards and configuration controls are met.\nResponsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. \nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or above from an accredited college/university in a STEM discipline. Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science preferred.\nRecent formal software engineering management or software engineering team lead experience.\nExperience in software engineering, systems engineering, integration and test, or a related field.\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nStrong organizational, planning and time management skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.\nDesired Skills\nDemonstrate Full Spectrum Leadership qualities by shaping high-performing, diverse teams, driving conflict resolution, and establishing collaborative cross-functional relationships.\nFamiliarity with F-35 software lifecycle, with a focus on system software interface and build process.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tooling and processes.\nFamiliarity with Atlassian tool suite (Jira/Confluence) and Gitlab.\nExperience with Agile/SAFe framework.\nProposal and BOE development experience.\nExperience with Cost Account Management & Earn Value Management.\nExperience developing detailed plans in support of technical assignments.\nExcellent presentation skills and the ability to convey focused messages to internal senior leadership and external customers.\nExperience working with multiple Integrated Product Teams within a program.\nExperience as a strategic thinker with the ability to translate into action and results.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
