Candidate must have the ability to take ownership of software testing, software integration activities and system troubleshooting. The selected candidate will be responsible for frequent use and application of software engineering standards and techniques, including Object Oriented Design and Agile development techniques. This individual will help guide software requirements verification, architecture, design, implementation, and test. Candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment with frequent and direct interaction with various engineering disciplines and customers.Your responsibilities will include:\n- Testing, integrating, supporting, and debugging software\n- Supporting the virtual development labs and software development processes\n- Attending and participating in daily scrums, sprint reviews and technical demos\nPlans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.\nBasic Qualifications\nAbility to design software solutions to address complex problems\nEmbedded programming experience in C/C++ and Python.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships across Agile Development Teams.\nComfortable working in an Agile Scrum environment\nActive TS / SCI w/ Poly Security Clearance\nDesired Skills\nKnowledge of embedded systems architectures and test experience using embedded systems.\nExperience integrating complex software systems with high performance and/or timing constraints.\nPrior knowledge of embedded and/or MPSoC architectures.\nDemonstrated experience using the Agile methodology in the development, integration and test of complex software systems and environments.\nProgramming background in C/C++ and Python.\nExperience with leading process improvement initiatives.\nExperience with program lifecycle execution from concept phase through end-of-life phase.\nComfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
