Come and experience your future!\nTHE WORK\nThis is a Systems & Software Quality Engineering position supporting the LM Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) F-35 Training Systems (TS) Program, based in Orlando, FL. The position will support the Training Systems segment of F-35, reporting functionally to the LM RMS Systems & Software Quality Engineering Functional Manager for F-35 TS and interfacing with F-35 Training System (TS) Quality Program Management on SSQE work tasks and priorities. Will be expected to quickly come-up to speed with the F-35 TS products, System & Software work scope, technical requirements, program risks, and delivery milestone schedule. The F-35 Quality Engineer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nHelp Identify root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance, and participate/interface with the engineering counterparts on program activities to assure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements.\nAbility to evaluate data to identify systemic issues and trends\nPerform direct verification and validation of systems and software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.\nImplement processes and methods for systems and software development, quality and maintenance.\nEnsure project and process documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and contract by reviewing design, change specifications, plans, tools, techniques, and methodologies.\nParticipate and support the F-35 TS change control process boards\nWitness and ensure the quality of F-35 TS integration and test activities and formal testing and acceptance events.\nSupport security and information assurance activities, including verification and validation of cyber security activities and work products.\nWHO WE ARE\nOur customers are world-wide and so is our reputation for creating original solutions with the latest technologies. Performs verification and validation of test equipment including hardware in the loop systems. Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives. Designs and implements software development and maintenance processes. Defines audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems/software processes. Designs, specifies and conducts test methods for software inspection, verification and validation. Evaluates and analyzes software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Performs software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements. Reviews include requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.\nUse of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). \nAbility to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret clearance. \nDesired Skills\nBackground in a STEM discipline (e.g., engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field).\n1+year of Quality experience\nKnowledge of C/C++, C#, Java and Scripting Languages.\nAuditing Experience\nSystems and Hardware Engineering a plus. \nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $58200.00 - $108200.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
