With a rich legacy of excellence and a commitment to delivering advanced capabilities to our customers, we are proud to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and engineering.\nLockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Configuration Analyst to join our team as an Integration, installation and test SME for Virtual Advisory Threat Simulator (VATS) software and Grid at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center - Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis Air Force Base (AFB), NV.\nThe successful candidate will have a strong IT background with very niche skills, specifically in Virtual Advisory Threat Simulator (VATS) software development, and a good understanding of aircraft Operational Flight Program (OFP) systems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nServe as a subject matter expert for VATS software integration, providing technical guidance and support operational requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software requirements, ensuring that the VATS software meets the needs of end-users.\nParticipate in software testing and validation, ensuring that the VATS software meets the required standards and specifications.\nProvide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring that they are proficient in the use of the VATS software.\nJoin Lockheed Martin's innovative aerospace and defense team, enjoy professional development opportunities, collaborate with bright minds, access competitive benefits, and work with cutting-edge technology on groundbreaking projects.\nDevelops and maintains software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products. Performs configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable. Designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development. Designs and implements build procedures that are used to support software product development and use. Develops software configuration standards and policies for company-wide use. Trains software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards. Maintains the Software Configuration Management System including collection or distribution of code documentation, problem report and change request processing, software build documents, and delivery of software products to operational environments.
