Standard Job Description As a Senior Mechanisms Engineer, your responsibilities may include some of the following: Work under the limited direction of other mechanism engineers to research, design, analyze, and develop innovative components, assemblies, and systems of varying complexity while assuring sound technical rigor and timely delivery. Functionally own specific mechanical systems and delegate tasks Develop, review, and maintain engineering documents, specifications, and technical analyses, including 3D solid models and 2D drawings. Be a member of multiple integrated product teams, reciprocally interacting with other engineers, adjacent functions, suppliers, and stakeholders, to support products through the entire engineering lifecycle. Represent the organization in design reviews, readiness reviews, and review boards. Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and test personnel to supervise the build and validation of hardware in a production environment. Traveling occasionally to supplier sites or other locations to validate parts, resolve issues, and provide support on site.
