In addition to core Scrum duties, the role also encompasses broader project-engineering responsibilities to ensure successful end-to-end delivery.\nProject-Engineering Duties\nProject Coordination & Planning: Define schedules, milestones, and deliverable dependencies across multiple streams.\nResource Integration: Align internal and external resources (engineering, security, IT ops, etc.) to meet project needs.\nRisk, Quality & Cost Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; enforce quality gates; monitor budget adherence.\nTechnical Standards Alignment: Ensure the correct technical guidance is applied in project planning to result in a compliant, functional solution.\nStakeholder Communication: Provide status updates and ensure expectations are aligned with business objectives.\nExpected Outcomes\nConsistent, on-time delivery of IT infrastructure and platform initiatives.\nBuilding High-performing, self-organizing Agile teams that adhere to technical and business standards.\nTransparent risk and cost oversight, leading to predictable project outcomes.\nBasic Qualifications\n6+ years of experience in project engineering or a comparable technical role, with at least 3 years acting as Scrum Master for medium-to-large Agile teams.\nCertified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent; additional Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe, PMI-ACP) preferred.\nProven ability to collaborate with Product Management-experience shaping roadmaps, writing user stories, and prioritizing features.\nStrong analytical skill set: comfortable interpreting data, conducting root-cause analysis, and making data-driven decisions.\nExcellent communication and facilitation skills with multi-disciplined engineering teams.\nExperience developing and managing project/program schedules (Microsoft Project, Open Plan, or similar)\nExperience with Jira, Agile Hive\nExperience with scaled agile - team of teams / scrum of scrums\nDesired Skills\nPrior experience with IT for classified\nPrior experience with IT platform development for classified\nFamiliarity with PL-3 networks and their operation\nScrum experience across multiple organizations\nExperience with agile under waterfall, and transition of projects from agile to waterfall and vice versa\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
