Lockheed Martin-built satellites give earlier warning of severe weather, connect troops on the battlefield, and deliver GPS directions to a billion people worldwide.\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Systems Integration Engineer to join the Responsive Flight Solutions (RFS) Demos team within IGNITE, initially supporting the Lynx program.\nThe RFS Demos team has a portfolio of on-orbit technology/mission demonstration programs. The team is structured to have an execution-focused core team (PM and SEIT functions) for each program, with support from the enterprise for supplementary skills and subject matter expertise. The RFS Demos team is responsible for the entire program life cycle, from conception through post-launch support.\nWhat does this role look like?\nServe as an integration lead for different Electrical subsystems\nLead the definition of electrical system interfaces\nLead the definition, analysis, and recommendation of Trade Study options related to electrical systems\nPerform data and document reviews and provide feedback for technical and program documentation\nSupport systems/hardware integration, test planning and execution and find opportunities for build flow and test efficiencies\nApply your technical expertise and engineering judgment to drive decision-making, rather than simply following established processes or procedures.\nAct as a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance, and who can effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.\nLead the team in executing these plans and will be comfortable making decisions in a collaborative and dynamic environment.\nExperience in Class C/D, IRAD, or \"go-fast\" development environment\nExperience identifying and managing risks, including targeted risk reduction\nDemonstrated Systems Thinking, including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, establish and maintain a big picture mindset, and assess design decision impacts\nBasic Qualifications\nExperience in integration, design, development, and test phases of Electrical products or subsystems\nDemonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries and geographical locations to collaborate with and influence others\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.\nUS Citizens Required to perform the task.\nDesired Skills\nDegree in Systems or Electrical Engineering preferred.\nExperience with channelization, power budget, power model, and electrical compatibility\nFamiliar with spacecraft architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space at the component through system level\nValidated understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors\nExperience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the program\nStrategic thinker who can take complex, high-level problems and break them down into manageable, actionable components.\nExperience with MBSE concepts in DOORS and/or Cameo\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
