Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Aerospace, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field\nProfessional experience performing aerospace stress analysis of metallic and composite structures\nActive or Current Top Secret Clearance required to start; US Citizenship Required\nDesired Skills\nMaster’s degree or PhD in Aerospace, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of stress analysis experience of metallics and composite structures\nExperience using NX/Nastran, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, Matlab, Mathcad and CREO for analysis of spacecraft, aircraft, or missiles\nExperience in the planning and execution of structural development and qualification testing\nExcellent communication skills-both written and verbal\nSelf-motivated, and able and willing to support multiple projects\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
