Our mission-driven approach and unwavering dedication to excellence ensure that we continue to deliver superior products and solutions to our customers around the world.\nTHE WORK\nThe Midway program in King of Prussia, PA is looking for an experienced professional to support the Logistics, Sustainment, and Field Technical Support effort for the program. Midway is a rapid fielding program, which requires the ability to shift priorities as necessary for successful results.\nThe successful candidate selected would be part of the Global Sustainment team supporting equipment and hardware sustainment activities. The candidate will also support the logistics and maintenance tasks of existing fielded systems. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for driving hardware support for depot and field level operations, working closely with various functional groups to meet customer commitments and program growth objectives.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nInterface with program LPM on prioritization and execution of hardware maintenance activities. Support the LPM on forecasting system maintenance on each delivered system.\nPerforming depot-level hardware troubleshooting and repairs on systems located on-site and in deployed environments to meet customer commitments.\nEnsuring efficient process flow throughout the hardware repair, shipment, and delivery processes.\nPerforming preventive and corrective hardware maintenance procedures to ensure system availability.\nEnsuring spare hardware and repair parts are configured and serviceable per system requirements.\nExecuting annual property inventories and reconciliation of GFE repair parts/tools.\nProcurement and management of bench stock levels on-site and at each deployed location.\nPosition is full time in the King of Prussia, PA facility. The candidate must be willing to relocate if not in this area. The candidate will be required to be in the facility when not on travel. However, there is flexibility on occasion to work from home with pre-coordination from the manager.\nProvides a level of postsales support and service to customer sites and remote sites at a high-tech level that cannot be rendered by the basic level of field hardware and systems software service. Employee is usually introduced to the customer site when the nature of equipment service required is beyond the skill level possessed by the basic field/customer service engineer.\nBasic Qualifications\nMust have a Top Secret Clearance prior to start.\nFamiliarity with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements.\nMust be able to travel as needed, travel varies from 10% to 25% depending on priorities and deliveries.\nDesired Skills\nHighly motivated, detail-oriented individual with the ability to follow through on both internal and external commitments.\nStrong inter-personal skills, have the ability to work within a team, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience maintaining complex military systems.\nAbility to analyze and decipher wiring diagrams and schematics.\nProven ability to troubleshoot, isolate, and repair systems utilizing technical data.\nFamiliarity with depot and field level maintenance procedures and repair methods.\nUnderstanding of Supply Chain Management, production controls, and production planning.\nExperience documenting maintenance faults and corrective actions in a maintenance information system.\nMonitor system obsolescence reporting and track high-priority items to end-of-life.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
