We are seeking an entry level Systems Engineer at Naval Base Kitsap - Bangor located near Silverdale, Washington to provide Engineering support to Navy and Lockheed Martin Customers for sustainment of equipment used to handle, transport, service, and maintain the Trident II Submarine-launched ballistic missile systems.\nIn this role you will:\nDevelop solutions to a variety of technical problems of varying complexity, perform in a team environment, and work under the direction of a group lead.\nProvide guidance for support equipment, operations, disassembly, assembly, discrepancy identification, maintenance, and repair.\nProvide technical guidance during the isolation and correction of discrepant conditions, equipment defects, and procedural difficulties encountered on the production floor.\nApply mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles, theories, and concepts.\nHave flexibility for variation in work scope and shifts.\nThe position will involve extensive travel with approximately 40% of you time spent in our Flagstaff, AZ or Salt lake City, UT sites and 60% in Silverdale, WA.\nThis position requires an Interim Secret clearance to start. U.S. Citizenship required.
