Our engineers are delivering advanced technologies that strengthen Australia's national security and interoperability with allied forces.\nTHE WORK\nWe're seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, verification, and validation of mission-critical capabilities for AIR6500.\nWorking in a collaborative Agile environment, you'll partner with multidisciplinary engineering teams to translate customer requirements into integrated system solutions. You'll contribute to technical planning, system architecture, test automation, and risk management while helping deliver complex command and control capabilities throughout the engineering lifecycle.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and maintain system requirements, architectures, interfaces, and technical specifications supporting integrated mission capabilities.\n\nLead technical planning, systems analysis, and engineering trade studies to balance performance, cost, schedule, and technical risk.\n\nSupport system integration, verification, and validation activities across complex hardware and software environments.\n\nDevelop and implement automated testing strategies to improve system quality, reliability, and integration efficiency.\n\nCollaborate across systems, software, infrastructure, and test engineering teams to resolve complex integration challenges.\n\nSupport modern engineering practices, including Agile development, containerized environments, and Infrastructure as Code.\n\nCommunicate technical progress, risks, and engineering recommendations to program leadership, customers, and key stakeholders.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in STEM related field with a minimum of two years of professional experience\nExperience with developing system requirements \nExperience with MBSE tools such as Rhapsody and DOORS \nDesired Skills\nExperience with software requirements testing and analysis\nPay Information\nGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.
