This critical initiative will provide communication, missile warning, missile tracking, and missile defense capabilities. You will join an elite team to develop cutting edge technical capabilities for our customers utilizing groundbreaking model-based systems engineering (MBSE), web-based documentation and continuous integration continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines.\nIn this Architecture/CONOPS Support role you will:\nSupport the development of the CONOPS, Design Description Document and Operations Handbook utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering and new web-based documentation processes in an Agile work environment.\nParticipate in CONOPS Working groups to coordinate a multi-party integrated solution between our customers, contractors, and industry partners.\nManage the CONOPS documents through the change control process\nHelp in translating CONOPs definition into operational procedures\nDevelop new and creative ways to present and visualize engineering data and documentation in a web-based environment\nEnsure the requirements baseline captures all necessary functions\nCoordinate with the Test and Command/Control teams to ensure the test scripts and operational software accurately execute system functions\nCoordinate with the Flight Software and Database teams to ensure appropriate implementation and coverage of system CONOPS\nSupport Structural and Behavioral modeling to represent system makeup and functionality\nSupport defining system constraints that will be leveraged for mission operations and AI&T\nThe information below reflects the standard job description for this position:\nPerforms technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors or higher degree in an Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related subject area, or equivalent experience\nExperience with one or more Systems Engineering functions including:System trade studies, CONOPS, and/or System modeling\nSystems architecture knowledge or experience \nRequirements, Interface Control Document (ICD), or Interface Definition Document (IDD) development\n\nExperience with Model Based Systems Engineering, leveraging SysML and MBSE tools (Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.)\nObtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, thus U.S. Citizenship is required\nDesired Skills\n3+ years experience with spacecraft or ground system architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space, missile and launch systems at the component through system level\nExperience in the development CONOPS, Operator Handbooks, or other Systems Engineering Documentation\nMission operations experience\nExperience with a software scripting/programming language (e.g. Python, HTML, Matlab, Visual Basic, C/C++, etc.)\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
