Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical discipline, or a closely related field - or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience\nTechnical proficiency in interface controldevelopment, and systems engineering methods to define robust, unambiguous system connections\nExperience in agile development process, roles, and rhythms (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)\nDocumentation clarity producing concise, version-controlled ICDs that ensure traceability, compliance, and seamless cross-disciplinary integration\nAnalytical rigor in interface allocation, verification & validation planning, and impact assessment to proactively mitigate integration risk\nDemonstrated experience coordinating effectiveness enabling cross-functional negotiation, consensus-building, and alignment of competing interface requirements\nActive Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
