We pride ourselves on our culture of creativity, excellence, and product innovation.\nThe Work\nThis position is specifically for an experienced Systems Diagnostics Engineer with expertise developing, optimizing, and maintaining Diagnostics SW in support of the MH-60R/S platform avionics systems, subsystems, and components.\nSpecific responsibilities include:\n-Diagnostics SW development and SW releases across multiple aircraft configurations and part numbers.\n-Designing diagnostics software and maintenance procedures for new or updated subsystems and avionics boxes, across multiple aircraft configurations, and system software configurations.\n-Supporting diagnostics SW regression testing, diagnostics release testing, and PTR testing.\n-Generating and maintaining relevant diagnostics software requirements, design, process, and drawing documentation for various programs and aircraft configurations.\n-Coordination of PTR status with Diagnostics lead and team members.\n-Allocating and documenting Diagnostics requirements and analysis including the application of AWS, SRS, testability analysis, DAR, IDD, SDD, and IBA/FMET.\n-Planning and performing diagnostics development and release testing, including simulation, lab, regression, and aircraft testing.\n-Conducting design analysis, system modeling, testing, applying system engineering principles with emphasis on R&M, systems diagnostics, and troubleshooting.\nPerforms technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related discipline with 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience/combined education\nExperience with Systems Engineering processes including developing and sustaining SRS, SDD, IDD, and Software Drawing Trees\nExperience with System Integration and Test\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills.\nStrong leadership, administrative, and interpersonal skills\nMust be able to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance \nDesired Skills\n5 or more years of software/systems engineering or related experienceSystem Integration and Test Experience\nExperience in SW development using C#, XML, Python, LabView\nStrong understanding of avionics aircraft electronics systems, functions, and wiring diagrams\nProficient in SW configuration management using GitLab runners and containers \nPossess excellent communication skills for customer presentations and can work in a team environment as part of a multi-disciplined team effort involving many companies and customers \nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
