Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas.\nWe are growing and seeking to hire a Sr Systems Engineer for our Grand Prairie, TX site!\nWhat you will be doing:\nThe Configuration and Data Management (CDM) Point of Contact (POC) will drive the successful implementation and execution of all facets of CDM on the PAC-3 MAC Configuration Management contract.\nPrimary responsibilities include the following:\nParticipation as an active member in the Integrated Product/Process Team (IPT)\nReview and comment on Program Planning documentation (Program Management Plan, Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Requirements (SOR), etc.)\nPrepare, publish, and maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP)\nEnsure Configuration Control activities are implemented on the program\nFacilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings conducted on the program\nReview and analyze engineering change packages for technical and programmatic impacts\nEstablish and monitor workflow teams within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) database and provide workflow coordinator support\nReview Change Notice (CN) content to ensure Lockheed Martin command media and program specific requirements are met\nManage initial releases and all changes to the Technical Data Package (TDP)\nBasic Qualifications\nProven experience in Configuration Management (EIA-649) in an environment of rigorous hardware/software baseline configuration techniques\nProven experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems (e.g. Windchill)\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications\nFamiliarity with markings, formatting and handling of documentation.\nPossess strong written and oral communication skills.\nBachelors Degree from an accredited university.\nMust have 3 years of professional experience.\n**Ability to obtain a secret clearance, therefore you must be a US Citizen.\nDesired Skills\nExperience analyzing hardware and software systems\nExperience working in PLM tools (Windchill)\nFocused attention to detail to ensure required data attributes are accurate and complete, and that workflow processes are executed thoroughly\nDemonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change\nResolving technical challenges requiring integration with cross-functional teams\nExperience working in a collaborative team environment\nExcellent writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills\nExperience with configuration status accounting and product release process\nStrong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships\nExperience working with customer and Sub-Contractor CDRL/SDRLs and SOWs\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision\nExperience with reading and understanding DoD Contracts\nExperienced in\nFunctional Configuration Audits (FCA)\nPhysical Configuration Audits (PCA)\nConfiguration Change Management\nEngineering Review Boards (ERB) / Concept Screening Board (CSB)\nConfiguration Change Boards (CCB)\nConfiguration Status Accounting (CSA)\nCost Account Management (CAM) Certification\nTechnical Baseline Management\nBOM Maintenance\nAble to prioritize tasking and manage time effectively\nAttention to detail\nCapable of working independently and as part of a team\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
