We help keep this nation and our allies secure and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.\nLockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer, Staff to help plan and execute the Sea Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM) operational processes and test flights in Titusville, FL.\nAs part of the FBM and SLCM Programs you will report to Deployed Reentry Systems supporting the Navy where you will focus on planning and executing the testing required to ceritify the SLCM system.\nIn this role you will:\nDevelop, evaluate, and plan for multiple required tests\nDevelop proofing, and engineering evaluations\nInterface closely with our Navy Partners, both virtually and in person\nTravel up to 25% is required\nThe information reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
