They will partner with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), system design technical leads, software developers, configuration management, and program management to ensure a robust, repeatable, and secure build pipeline that meets strict safety, timing, and compliance requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nEstablish build-process standards (branching strategy, versioning, traceability, reproducibility).\nEvaluate and integrate build tools into build process (e.g., SIMS, CART, Jenkins, GitLab).\nEstablish build-process standards (branching strategy, versioning, traceability, reproducibility).\nServe as the primary liaison between System Design and the software development community.\nProduce leadership status updates and reports on design products being delivered.\nDrive interface and configuration management along with RTE alignment as well as interface management at the Air System level.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).\nDeep expertise in version-control systems (Git, Perforce) and branching strategies.\nProven experience designing, implementing, and scaling CI/CD pipelines for safety-critical or mission-critical software.\nDemonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, influence without direct authority, and mentor senior engineers.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nClearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance (or higher) as required for Aeronautics programs.\nDesired Skills\nExperience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., Cameo, SysML).\nPrior work on avionics or aerospace software projects.\nKnowledge of hardware-software co-design and integration of real-time operating systems.\nWorking knowledge of requirements development, traceability, and change control.\nStrong communication and facilitation skills, including direct customer interaction.\nAbility to work across technical, contracts, and program management functions.\nFamiliarity with configuration management practices.\nExperience with audits, process assessments, or metrics is preferred.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
