This position will be located Boulevard de la Carrière in Gatineau once the necessary clearance have been granted.\nActivities to include:\nLife Cycle Material Management, project coordination and technical support\nAttend meetings with DND\nConduct system engineering tasks that include requirements definition, specification development, preparation of engineering change packages and technical guidance packages\nReviewing Repairable Material Requests and recommending disposition\nResearch and verification of procurement data\nResponding to queries from supply managers and providing technical advice\nProvide engineering, technical and maintenance support to the Fleet Maintenance Facilities (FMF)\nParticipate in set to work trials\nEvaluate and recommend responses to Unsatisfactory Condition Reports\nAssist in the production of Statements of Requirement, Statements of Work (SOWs) and evaluation criteria for procurement of new material and systems\nAssist in preparation and execution of Tech Evals and Op Evals\nReview, create and maintain technical documentation to ensure requirements are met and design/implementation details are documented\nReview, edit and verify Technical Publications for in-service equipment and systems.\nBasic Qualifications\nAn engineering degree in a relevant discipline or a Certified Electronic Technologist (CET) designation or Successful completion of courses in Radio Frequency (RF)/Microwave theory and measurement techniques or completion of an acceptable training program in electronics technology with specialization in RF, communications, control, or computers.\nMinimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience\nEquivalent experience/combined education will be considered\nExperience with EW Systems\nCommunicate effectively with technical and nontechnical members of the engineering/management staff and personnel assigned to related work\nAptitude for solving challenging problems\nHave a high degree of initiative and autonomy\nHave a high learning ability\nAbility to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment\nFour+ years, experience supporting naval combat systems, sensor systems, electronic warfare systems, command and control systems, or equivalent defence systems\nDemonstrated experience in systems engineering and In-Service Support (ISS) activities.\nDesired Skills\nExperience with Communications Intelligence (COMINT) systems\nExperience with Sensors, Weapons or Ship integration\nExperience with Change Management, Requirements Management, Test and Trials (T&Ts), Security,
