Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.\nBasic Qualifications\n5+ years of related experience\nBachelors degree in engineering or related field\nExperience across multiple disciplines, including systems engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, and testing.\nProven ability to apply this experience to drive the development of complex solutions.\nExperience with PLM concepts: change notice, revision lifecycle, object type limitations, and object-linking functionality.\nExperience developing and delivering MBSE artifacts (system structure, behavior, requirements, and parameters) to support the engineering product lifecycle.\nExperience creating model-based System Architecture solutions, including definition of structure, behavior, interfaces, and data flows.\nAbility to translate stakeholder needs into coherent system architectures.\nStrong expertise in at least one of the following tools and familiarity with all:\nPTC Windchill\nSystem Modeling tools (e.g. Cameo, Rhapsody)\nRequirements Management (e.g. DOORS)\nExperience as an Agile Product Owner including use of JIRA, running Agile ceremonies.\nWorking knowledge of digital threads in context of product life cycle management.\nDesired Skills\nPrior experience defining and driving implementation of new capabilities, tools, processes\nExperience with enterprise/system of systems design and/or integration\nExperience with technologies utilized for establishing and connecting digital threads (e.g. OSLC, eQube)\nExperience in translating requirements and needs into conceptual processes that operate within limitations of tools, LM command media and existing LM processes\nCurrent LM Systems Architect certification, at the Qualified level or higher.\nBackground in model-based architecture frameworks (DoDAF, MODAF, UAF).\nTest planning and execution experience.\nProficiency in writing plays, training guides, or instructional materials.\nExperience with Agile development tools, techniques and associated business rhythms\nPay Information\nGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.
