This position will support the F-35 Program at our MCAS Yuma, Arizona location.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer (FSE) to serve as a Nose to Tail (NTT) expert, providing technical support and guidance to the USMC on-site customer. The ideal candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Avionics/Mission Systems (MS) and Airframe Powerplant Generalist (APG)/Vehicle Systems (VS), with a strong foundation in Supportable Low Observable (SLO)/Structures.\nResponsibilities include:\n\nAs a member of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team, the successful candidate will serve as the technical interface to the USMC on-site customer, providing expert guidance and support in resolving issues arising from maintenance and modification activities for the F-35 aircraft. This will include:\nCollaborating with USMC customers to identify and resolve technical issues\nProviding expert advice and guidance on Avionics/MS, APG/VS, and SLO/Structures\nTroubleshooting and analyzing complex technical problems\nDeveloping and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize aircraft availability\nAttend debriefings to aid in the rapid identification of emerging issues that require company intervention to avoid aircraft downtime.\nDocument all unusual operation / maintenance problems to ensure the company is apprised of and can identify emerging failure trends.\nProvide training to customer personnel. Must be able to work and interact with the maintainer as well as the professional engineers from other F-35 companies as a peer.\nSelected candidate must be willing and able to work second or third shift as needed.\nTravel required; candidates must be willing and able to deploy with customer to possible hazardous duty locations. Long term deployments may be required both ashore and aboard Naval Ships. US Department of Defense (DoD) mandated vaccinations may be required.\nMust be able to obtain F-35 Special Program Access. Must have at a Active Secret Security Clearance. Must be a US Citizen.
