As a System integrator intern, you will support end-to-end integration of space systems across hardware, software, and operations domain.\nThis role is ideal for engineering students with electrical/electronic/computer engineering project/internship experience who will develop Ai model(s) to assist in the development, integration, verification, and validation of spacecraft and satellite electrical subsystems throughout the system lifecycle. This role is responsible for translating mission needs into technical requirements, managing requirements traceability, supporting subsystem integration activities, and executing verification and validation plans to ensure compliance with mission and customer objectives.\nThe role will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including avionics, power systems, communications, flight software, guidance/navigation/control (GNC), thermal, mechanical, manufacturing, and test organizations.\nThis position will be on-site full time.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for assisting senior level system integrator in the following areas:\nSystems Integration & Engineering Support\nSupport system integration planning across spacecraft subsystems (avionics, propulsion, power, thermal, structures, software, communications) interfaces and mission-level architecture\nMaintain system level configuration management, requirements decomposition, interface definition, and traceability using DOORS and CAMEO\nDevelop and maintain system documentation such as Interface Control Documents (ICDs), integration procedures, test plans, and verification matrices and help track verification closure and configuration status\nVerification, Validation\nDevelop Ai model(s) to assist in verification of subsystem including:Electrical Power System (EPS)\nBattery systems\nSolar arrays\nCommand & Data Handling (C&DH)\nFlight computers\nCommunications payloads\nSensors and avionics\nAnalyze subsystem interfaces and ensure ICD compliance.\nParticipate in hardware/software integration activities.\nSupport integration planning, and anomaly detection resolution (ADR).\nVerification & Validation (V&V)\nDevelop verification and validation strategies for spacecraft systems.\nCreate:\nVerification Plans\nVerification Procedures\nTest Plans\nTest Reports\nExecute verification methods including:Test\nAnalysis\nInspection\nDemonstration\n\nSupport environmental qualification activities:\nThermal Vacuum (TVAC)\n\nAssist in planning and executing integration, test, and verification (IT&V) activities\nHelp track verification closure and configuration status\nCross-Functional Coordination\nCoordinate technical inputs across engineering teams to ensure compatibility and interface alignment\nCollaborate with hardware, software, avionics, propulsion, ground systems, and operations teams\nSupport integration reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR)\nPrepare technical documentation, briefing charts, and status reports\nBasic Qualifications\nMajoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering\nCompleted first 3 years of college level core course work in respective majors\nU.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance\nDesired Skills\nMaster’s degree in Electrical engineering, computer engineering with experience supporting electrical subsystem integration and testing.\nCompleted at least 1 summer of engineering internship experience\nExposure to test environments, research lab, lab integration, or environmental testing in past engineering internships\nActive Secret Clearance or higher\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $33.51 - $38.71\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
