The successful candidate will be responsible for the Systems Engineering effort across a portfolio of IRAD and mission demo programs, supporting the development and expansion of the IGNITE Systems Integration & Engineering (SI&E) organization, and driving the identification and implementation of Systems Engineering processes and improvements. The IGNITE CSE will collaborate with Systems Engineering functional leadership, IGNITE leadership, and Program Management to provide technical, functional, and programmatic support to the IGNITE programs, to identify and resolve personnel and technical issues, and to execute functional and programmatic initiatives.\nPerforms technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
