Oversees the synthesis of customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Directs the following activities: establishing functional and technical specifications and standards, solving hardware/software interface problems, defining input/output parameters, and ensuring integration of the entire system or subsystem. Manages the development and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nAs the Production Test Engineering Asc. Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of test engineers and overseeing the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and/or systems. You will also be responsible for managing the development of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nManaging a team of test engineers, including recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and career development\nPartnering with Operations and the Factories to ensure test equipment adequately supports the program\nDirect the execution of Test Equipment Design, Integration, Verfication, and Validation\nDrive test equipment yield improvements\nDevelop Basis of Estimates (BOE) and support proposal activity\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or equivalent professional experience\nExperience supporting test equipment in a production environment \nRequires the ability to obtain a secret clearance\nDesired Skills\nBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering\nExperience testing electrical or electronic assemblies\nExperience developing test systems with LabVIEW and TestStand\n2+ years experience as a Manager, Associate Manager, Technical Lead, or Lead Engineer\n5 years minimum experience working in Test Engineering\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
