Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.\nCore Focus Areas for this Role\nInterfacing with early stage/IRAD programs as an interface between program and production center to establish test planning activities and provide guidance on product testability to meet program requirements and schedule commitments.\nMentoring junior engineers on test processes, best-path-forward troubleshooting, test efficiencies, and technical writing.\nProviding test expertise to the production center in automated processes and test efficiencies.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical degree or equivalent experience. \nMust be a United States citizen with the ablity to obtain a top secret clearance.\nMinimum 8 years of relevant Aerospance test engineering and/or manufacturing experience. \nPractical experience conducting tests in Thermal, Vacuum (TVAC), and Vibration environments.\nProven experience with automated test processes.\nStrong familiarity with Space test engineering command media and/or AS9100 standards.\nAbility to effectively communicate with internal support groups and customers.\nDesired Skills\nActive Top Secret clearance.\nExperience supporting early program phases, driving testability assessments and requirements trade-offs between technical feasibility and program constraints.\nHands-on experience with test plan development, procedure authoring, and subsystem/system test execution.\nProficiency in test automation tools/languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, C++, MATLAB, or similar).\nExperience with discrepancy reporting, integration regression testing, and root cause analysis of test failures.\nFamiliarity with MIL-STD or related test standards and protocols.\nDemonstrated ability to balance testability, schedule, and cost objectives in a production environment.\nFamiliarity with subsystem verification/validation.\nAdditional familiarity with AS9100 audit processes or test environment certification processes is a plus.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
