This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical projects that protect and serve our nation’s defense.\nIn this position, you will play a key role in software development and integration as part of our Agile Development Team working on satellite communications (SATCOM) systems. You will support the development and integration of solutions to ensure robust, secure, and resilient software products that meet high-performance and security standards.\nAs a Systems Integration/Test Engineer you will:\nPlan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of internally developed and COTS components, elements, and systems\nEstablish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the system\nReview, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability\nDevelop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules\nCoordinate system testing activities with programs and other organizations.\nSupport end-to-end testing activities including regression testing.\nPerform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive system evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance\nWrite discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems\nPlans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s and/or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field\nExperience with the integration, design, test, or analysis of software products or subsystems\nFamiliarity with Digital Engineering tools like DOORs and Cameo for requirements management and systems modeling\nExperience with automated end-to-end testing using tools like Playwright or similar testing frameworks (Cypress/Selenium)\nFamiliarity with continuous integration concepts and DevSecOps tools (e.g. Kubernetes, Rancher, ArgoCD, and GitLab)\nUS Citizenship required. Final secret clearance required to start the role\nDesired Skills\nExperience with Command & Control (C2) operations for satellite communications ground systems, such as planning, directing, monitoring, and managing communications services and ground resources.\nExperience writing test plans, test procedures, or technical documents\nExperience preparing for and executing spacecraft or system-level tests\nCapable of working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules\nDemonstrated behaviors of a systems problem solver; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
