Working across different programs over time, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, platforms and Defence domains while contributing to engineering excellence across the organisation.\nThis is an ideal opportunity for an experienced V&V professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, mentoring others, and influencing best practice in the verification of mission-critical systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe Verification & Validation Engineer (Staff) primary responsibilities include:\nLead the development of V&V artefacts including Verification & Validation Plans, VCRMs, Acceptance Test Plans and Procedures\nPlan, coordinate and oversee system-level verification activities across complex Defence and technology programs\nEstablish and maintain end-to-end traceability from requirements through to verification evidence within a digital engineering environment\nProvide specialist V&V guidance to project teams, supporting integration, test, reviews, bids and governance activities\nCollaborate with customers, engineers, test teams and stakeholders to deliver robust verification outcomes\nContribute to V&V capability development through mentoring, process improvement, tool adoption and engineering best practice initiatives\nWhat you’ll bring\nTo be successful in this role you will have:\nSignificant experience in Verification & Validation, Systems Engineering, Integration, Test & Evaluation, or related disciplines on complex systems\nStrong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and the application of V&V across the engineering lifecycle\nExperience working with MBSE methodologies and tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, ETM or similar digital engineering platforms\nKnowledge of Defence capability domains such as Command & Control, Command Support, ISR or C4ISR environments\nExperience working within Agile development environments and multidisciplinary engineering teams\nStrong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple projects\nNV1 security clearance and ability to handle Export Controlled information\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice\nDon't meet every requirement?\nIf you're excited by this opportunity but don't meet every criterion, we'd still love to hear from you.
