Responsibilities will include technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and/or formal system development, testing and delivery. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment with frequent and direct interaction with various engineering disciplines and customers. Prior experience as a systems engineer or I&T with domain knowledge of ground systems, networks, and integration & test of enterprise software products is required.\nThe information below reflects the standard job description for this position:\nPlans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent professional experience\nMinimum of 5+ years work experience in Systems Development, Engineering or Integration and Test\nExperience in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, or formal system development/qualification/certification\nPrior experience with satellite ground systems design, development, or integration & test\nDemonstrated communications skills (verbal and written) with the ability to prepare and present program status to management and customers\nAn Active Secret clearance to start (Must be a US citizen).\nDesired Skills\nExperience working in an Agile I&T environment, including tools such as Jira and Confluence\nWorking knowledge of integration flows and test phase requirements\nDemonstrated experience leading a cross-functional team in the planning and execution of a project goal\nExperience with enterprise Ground Product Line (GPL) products Horizon, Compass or Hades\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency\nGenerate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in V&V events\nDeliver effective customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details\nActive Secret clearance or higher\nSupport occasional business travel (up to 25%)\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice\nPay Information\nGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.
