Training conduct includes classroom lecture, bench-level lab exercises, full system operation, and maintenance/troubleshooting lab exercises.\nCoordinates all aspects of training preparation, including preparing the classroom, reserving lab space and equipment, and support personnel.\nEvaluates training effectiveness and implements changes based on feedback.\nApplies instructional system design best practices and contractual requirements to design, development, and delivery of training programs and materials.\nProvides subject matter expertise on installation, emplacement/displacement, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of complex radar systems, as needed to technical writers, other Lockheed Martin teams, and customers. Participates in validations, demonstrations, and other events as required. \nSupport development of technical documentation, such as technical procedure manuals, depot manuals, user manuals, and other related technical publications, as needed.\nAcquires subject knowledge by interviewing engineers and other subject matter experts, observing performance of procedures, review technical specifications, engineering drawings, schematics, and other materials.\nEvaluates engineering data and technical documentation and makes appropriate updates to course material.\nDomestic and international travel required.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience. Considered an experienced professional.\nSubject matter expertise on highly complex technical systems, radar systems preferred.\nExperience in developing technical training programs, plans, curriculum, and lesson materials, according to contractual requirements.\nExperience conducting instructor-led training in classroom and hands-on environments. \nExperience supporting highly complex technical systems incorporating both hardware and software components.\nExperience reviewing technical source materials such as schematics, specifications, and design descriptions, and extracting pertinent technical information for training or other logistics products.\nExcellent interpersonal skills, including ability to interact with students, subject matter experts, and customers.\nPossesses Secret Clearance. \nDesired Skills\nPrevious experience developing and conducting technical training on Lockheed Martin radar systems.\nExpertise developing training following DoD standards desired.\nExperience with Linux operating systems, a plus.\nPay Information\nGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.
