You’ll perform experiments and tests, evaluate processes and products, help identify process problems, and document and communicate results. You’ll also monitor fabrication activities, process controls, materials, supplies, and quality, including cable harness fabrication and routing activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform experiments and tests that support engineering activities.\nEvaluate new processes and products and help isolate process problems.\nDesign and conduct simple experiments when needed.\nCollect results and maintain accurate process and test logs.\nPrepare clear oral and written reports of results.\nMonitor wafer fabrication, process controls, materials, and supplies.\nSupport cable harness fabrication and routing activities.\nCheck processes and equipment for proper functioning and identify discrepancies.\nMonitor and verify quality using established statistical process or other control procedures.\nAdvise operators on processes and procedures.\nProvide engineers with relevant process information and test results.\nWork Environment\nWork in a fabrication area or processing laboratory.\nWork closely with engineers and operators.\nFollow established process, quality, and safety procedures.\nThe role combines hands-on assembly, cable harness fabrication and routing, and process monitoring with accurate documentation and communication.\nWhy You’ll Love This Role\nSupport engineering work that directly informs fabrication and process decisions.\nWork across mechanical assembly, cable harness fabrication and routing, process monitoring, and quality activities.\nBuild practical experience evaluating processes and identifying problems.\nCollaborate directly with engineers and operators.\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nExperience performing mechanical and electrical assembly, including cable harness fabrication and routing, or process evaluations in a fabrication, manufacturing, or processing environment.\nExperience with cable harness fabrication and routing.\nAbility to monitor fabrication processes, process controls, materials, and supplies and identify discrepancies or process problems.\nAbility to follow established quality-control, process, and safety procedures, including statistical process or other control procedures when applicable.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints.\nDesired Skills\nNice-to-have skills that strengthen candidacy but are not required:\nExperience evaluating new processes or products.\nExperience identifying and isolating process problems.\nExperience supporting mechanical and electrical processing operations.\nExperience with cable harness fabrication, routing, and related assembly activities.\nExperience communicating technical findings to operators, engineers, or other team members.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $56600.00 - $105000.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
