And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.\nJoin us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.\nThe Quality Control Specialist develops and reviews inspection documentation for parts and assemblies to ensure conformance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.\nKey Responsibilities (not exhaustive):\nReview specifications, engineering prints, and manufacturing process plans to confirm inspection accuracy.\nInterpret engineering drawings and applicable industry specifications.\nMeasure components using hand tools such as calipers and micrometers.\nPerform inspections of in-process and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards, customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications.\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh-school diploma or equivalent.\nBasic digital proficiency and a rapid ability to learn company-specific software, tools, or internal databases.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).\nMust be a U.S. citizen (facility requires special access).\nDesired Skills\nStrong time-management and organizational skills for handling daily tasks and competing priorities.\nSolid grasp of quality-control principles.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as a collaborative team member.\nExperience inspecting bonding, composites, structural, and/or cable/harness assemblies.\nFamiliarity with corrective-action processes, Material Review Board (MRB) procedures, and Military/Space specifications.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $36400.00 - $67600.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
