And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.\nJoin us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.\nThe Quality Control Specialist develops and reviews inspection documentation for parts and assemblies to ensure conformance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.\nKey Responsibilities (not exhaustive):\nReview specifications, engineering prints, and manufacturing process plans to confirm inspection accuracy.\nInterpret engineering drawings and applicable industry specifications.\nAssist with first-article inspections, process surveillance, and quality-management-system (QMS) audits.\nMeasure components using hand tools such as calipers and micrometers.\nPerform inspections of in-process and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications.\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.\nBasic Qualifications\nHands-on inspection experience.\nUnderstanding of quality-control principles.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).\nMust be a U.S. citizen (facility requires special access).\nDesired Skills\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively as a team member.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards.\nExperience inspecting bonding, composites, structural, and cable/harness assemblies.\nFamiliarity with inspection tooling such as calipers, pin gages, micrometers, and others.\nMinimum of 3 years of hands-on inspection experience.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $41900.00 - $77700.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
