Lockheed Martin Australia is looking forward to being a key contributor to the Australian UH-60M Black Hawk program and encourages you to come join us in delivering a sovereign sustainment capability.\nWe are pleased to invite applications for the position of Technician Structures /Composites AME Level 3 to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team based in Oakey.\nKey responsibilities\nAs an AME Level 3, you are primarily responsible for directly supporting Maintenance Managers in the execution of maintenance and aviation related duties by providing holistic tactical level task support for a group of maintenance tasks or GAT.\nKey responsibilities include the following and more:\nTask Sign-off and Certification of Maintenance within the scope of their authorisation in accordance with AFCAMAN, Book IV, Chapter 3 - Task Sign-off and Certification of Maintenance \nEnsuring they are aware of and comply with all relevant Warnings, Cautions and Instructions for their prescribed task\nNot proceeding past any point in the task where an Error Capture (EC) inspection is required\nInforming their chain of command when they, or other personnel, are subject to psychological (state-of-mind related) or physiological (physical-related) factors that adversely, or may adversely, impair their ability to perform maintenance or GAT\nOnly operating test and support equipment they are authorised to operate\nWhat you'll bring\nTo be successful in your role you will demonstrate the following:\nPlatform specific safety familiarisation course (or equivalent)\nCompetence assessment on the task being authorised\nSystem or component specific courses for component level maintenance\nCertificate III (or higher) in Aircraft Structures and Components or Equivalent from a recognised institution\nAppropriate aircraft trade qualifications (e.g. trade papers, apprenticeship, indentures etc).\nGood knowledge and understanding of the requirements of DASRs\nGood level of professional mastery\nGood understanding of the continuing airworthiness system, PBED principles, WH&S requirements, and effects of Human Factors in maintenance\nAbout Lockheed Martin Australia\nLockheed Martin is a dynamic organisation, providing stimulating and challenging opportunities with a global team of over 122,000 professionals.
