It also serves as the enterprise-wide Space process owner for Storage and Disposition disciplines, aligning policies and standards across multiple sites.\nKey Responsibilities\nCentralized Storage Operations\nOptimize warehouse footprint across CO, CA, and AL sites\nDynamically allocate space based on fluctuating demand\nDifferentiate handling by item size, weight, and equipment needs\nStorage Duration Management\nAdminister both short-term and long-term storage\nEnsure compliance with contractual retention/disposition timelines\nDisposition\nExecute asset disposition per contract closeout, regulatory, and customer requirements\nCoordinate timing, documentation, and transfer/disposal methods\nLifecycle Accountability & Auditing\nMaintain end-to-end asset visibility and identification accuracy\nSupport audits through complete trails, reconciliation, and documentation\nLease & Capacity Management\nOversee building lease obligations\nCommunicate current capacity and forecast future needs aligned with budgets/programs\nTeam Leadership\nRecruit, train, and assess staff; assign work\nManage performance, compensation, recognition, and discipline\nMetrics & Reporting\nOversee reports on supplier performance, mission readiness, and inventory health\nAdvise on diverse-scope tasks and operations\nAuthority\nManages subordinate associate managers, supervisors, and exempt professionals, guided by functional practices and management precedents.\nMaintains communication with internal staff, external customers, and peers across levels.\nActs as a consultant on significant, long-range matters.\nComplexity\nAddresses diverse-scope issues requiring evaluation of storage limitations, specialized transport needs, contractual mandates, and multi-site coordination.\nAdvises on strategic initiatives rather than daily supervised tasks.\nImpact\nSets strategic direction, allocates resources, and drives organizational objectives.
