We are particularly interested in individuals with experience across substations, overhead lines and high-voltage cable projects.\nAbout LOCKROSE\nLOCKROSE provides specialist project delivery, programme management and commercial services to the UK energy sector. Our team supports some of the industry's most complex and nationally significant transmission and distribution projects, helping clients deliver the infrastructure needed for a secure, reliable and low-carbon energy system.\nAs our business continues to grow, we are looking for experienced project leaders who can take ownership of delivery, build strong client relationships and provide clear leadership to project teams.\nThe Role\nYou will be responsible for leading transmission and/or distribution projects through the full project lifecycle, from development and pre-construction through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.\nWorking closely with clients, contractors and technical specialists, you will take ownership of project delivery, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with agreed programme and budget requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the delivery of transmission and distribution projects, taking ownership of scope, programme, budget and overall project performance.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, commercial and construction functions.\nManage project risks, interfaces, outages, access requirements and critical programme activities.\nMonitor project costs, forecasts, change control and cash flow, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved.\nUndertake Client responsibilities under NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including contract administration, change management and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance are maintained across project teams and supply chain partners.\nBuild strong working relationships with clients, contractors, network owners and key stakeholders.\nPrepare and deliver clear project reporting covering progress, programme, cost, risk and performance.\nSupport project close-out activities, handover and lessons learned.\nRequirements\nEssential Experience & Capabilities\nMinimum seven years' experience working within the UK energy sector.\nProven experience delivering transmission and/or distribution projects in a Senior Project Manager or equivalent leadership role.\nDemonstrable experience across high-voltage cable, overhead line and/or substation projects.\nStrong background managing contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary delivery teams.\nExperience managing project budgets, programmes, risks and commercial performance.\nGood working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.\nUnderstanding of UK construction legislation, CDM requirements and industry safety standards.\nStrong client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build credibility with senior stakeholders.\nExperience using project planning and controls tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.\nFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.\nDesirable Experience & Qualifications\nExperience delivering projects up to 400kV within operational network environments.\nDegree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a relevant discipline.\nAPM PMQ, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification.\nChartered status or membership of a relevant professional institution.\nSMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.\nBenefits\nWhat We Offer\nThe
