Our Portfolio Managers use advanced analytics to facilitate data-driven decision-making, optimising portfolio outcomes. With a proven track record, Lockton consistently achieves cost savings and provides comprehensive coverage, distinguishing our portfolio solutions within the competitive landscape of the London Market.\nDue to growth, we are looking for an Analyst to join the team.\nReporting to the LPS Data Lead, you will provide hands-on analytical and data support across LPS's monoline facilities and wider Lockton portfolio solutions initiatives. The primary focus of the role will be to:\nContinue building and maintaining the data infrastructure underpinning Lockton Portfolio Solutions monoline facilities.\nSupport opportunity scoping through the interrogation and modelling of premium and claims data.\nSupport the Data Lead in the preparation of high-quality data packs and submissions for insurance markets.\nBuild and maintain reporting and dashboards to monitor the performance of LPS facilities.\nProvide analytical support across a range of LPS strategic initiatives.\nCandidate Profile\nYou should have the following experience:\nEnd-to-end development of Power BI reports, including ETL, data modelling, DAX expression writing and report creation.\nProficiency in SQL development and good practices in query writing and optimisation.\nGood understanding of relational databases and data architecture.\nAdvanced Excel, including Power Query and Power Pivot.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.\nStrong communication skills - able to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nExperience of working within the insurance sector\nDesirable skills include:\nFamiliarity with London Market data processes, including BDX, Xchanging or Vipr.\nExperience working with large, multi-source datasets and building data pipelines.\nKnowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.\nExperience building automated reporting solutions or data workflows.\nHands-on experience using Databricks for analytics and reporting workflows\nAbout The Position\nLockton is the world's largest privately held independent insurance brokerage.
