This role ensures timely deliveries, compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and proper vehicle maintenance while supporting field operations and project schedules.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nOperate commercial vehicles in a safe and professional manner.\nTransport equipment, materials, and supplies to designated locations.\nConduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections.\nMaintain accurate driver logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.\nEnsure compliance with DOT, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and company safety regulations.\nSecure loads properly and verify cargo is transported safely.\nLoad and unload materials, equipment, and tools as required.\nCommunicate with dispatch, supervisors, and project personnel regarding delivery schedules and route updates.\nMonitor vehicle performance and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.\nAssist with warehouse, yard, and material handling activities when not driving.\nMaintain a clean and organized vehicle and work environment.\nFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.\nParticipate in safety meetings, training programs, and toolbox talks.\nQualifications\nRequired\nValid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).\nCurrent DOT Medical Card.\nAcceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).\nAbility to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.\nKnowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.\nAbility to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety.\nExcellent communication and organizational skills.\nPreferred\nPrevious experience transporting construction, industrial, utility, or pipeline equipment.\nExperience operating trailers, flatbeds, lowboys, or specialized hauling equipment.\nForklift, crane, or heavy equipment operating experience.\nCDL endorsements such as Tanker, Hazmat, or Doubles/Triples, as applicable.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.\nAbility to climb in and out of commercial vehicles and trailers.\nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.\nAbility to sit for extended periods while driving.\nAbility to perform physical labor associated with loading and unloading materials.\nWork Environment\nFrequent travel to project sites, customer locations, and company facilities.\nExposure to construction, industrial, utility, and pipeline job site conditions.\nMay require overtime, weekends, overnight travel, or on-call availability based on business needs.\nKey Competencies\nSafety Focus\nDependability\nTime Management\nAttention to Detail\nCustomer Service\nTeamwork\nProblem Solving\nCommunication Skills\nBenefits \nLoenbro offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and rewards to those who join our team: \nMedical, dental, and vision insurance \n 401(k) retirement plan with company match \n Paid time off (PTO)\nLife and disability insurance \nProfessional development and training opportunities \n Employee assistance program (EAP) \nBenefits eligibility may vary based on employment classification and hours worked. \n\nGuided by Core Values (LEAD), grounded in grit and a commitment to excellence, Loenbro betters our families, customers, and local communities.
