The day-to-day work includes drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and maintaining agreements and change orders with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and business partners. This role works closely with Project Managers, Procurement, Legal and Operations to ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and business objectives while minimizing risk. This is a hands-on role focused on contract compliance, accurate documentation, project support, and claims resolution.\nEssential Job Responsibilities \nDraft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial contracts, vendor agreements, subcontractor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, change orders, and amendments.\nEnsure contracts comply with company standards, legal requirements, and regulatory guidelines by identifying inconsistencies, and scope gaps.\nIdentify contractual risks and recommend solutions to mitigate exposure and protect company interests.\nLog and track negotiation status, contract milestones, renewals, expirations, deliverables, and compliance obligations.\nEnsure proper flow down of Prime Contract requirements to subcontractors and vendors.\nPartner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs while providing contract guidance, risk assessment, change-order support, and formal notice responses.\nMaintain contract templates, clause libraries, and standardized processes to improve efficiency and consistency.\nUtilize Docusign to coordinate contract negotiation, execution, and document retention.\nServe as the primary point of contact for contract-related questions and escalations.\nSupport audits, reporting, and documentation requests related to contractual agreements.\nMonitor subcontractor and vendor performance ensuring parties fulfill contractual obligations.\nCollaborate with legal counsel on complex negotiations, high-risk agreements, and claims or disputes as needed.\nAssist in developing and implementing contract-management policies, procedures, and best practices. \nMinimum Qualifications \nRequired: \nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field;\n3-7+ years’ experience in contract management, procurement, legal operations, or a related field;\nStrong understanding of contract terminology, negotiation principles, and risk-management practices;\nExperience drafting and reviewing commercial agreements and vendor contracts;\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously;\nStrong written and verbal communication skills;\nHigh attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities;\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software or ERP systems;\nAbility to work collaboratively and build strong internal and external relationships; and\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.\nPreferred Qualifications\n3+ years’ experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, energy, or industrial services industries;\nCertified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or similar certification;\nExperience working with government agencies, procurement, contracts, and vendors;\nFamiliarity with state and federal compliance requirements;\nFamiliarity with insurance terms, surety agreements, bonding, and regulatory standards;\nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite;\nKnowledge of contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems; and\nPrior experience supporting fast-paced, multi-state, or high-growth organizations.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment \nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
