Candidates with industrial electrical estimating experience in Design Build/Design Assist for Water Treatment would be top choice.\nEssential Job Responsibilities\nProject Assessment:\nCollaborate with project managers and engineers to thoroughly understand the technical requirements of mission-critical/data center projects.\nConduct comprehensive reviews of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to identify key project elements.\nCost Estimation:\nUtilize industry-standard estimating software and methodologies to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.\nAnalyze project components, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, to develop comprehensive project budgets.\nBid Preparation:\nPrepare and submit competitive and well-organized bids in a timely manner.\nCoordinate with the procurement team to obtain accurate and up-to-date pricing for materials and subcontractor services.\nRisk Analysis:\nEvaluate potential risks associated with project execution and incorporate risk mitigation strategies into cost estimates.\nProvide insights into alternative solutions or cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.\nCollaboration:\nWork closely with the project management team to ensure alignment between the estimated costs and project budgets.\nCollaborate with other departments, such as engineering and operations, to gather insights that enhance the accuracy of estimates.\nOther duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequired:\nProficiency in electrical estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.\nStrong ability to navigate Trimble Estimation software.\nStrong understanding of electrical systems and components.\nExcellent analytical and critical thinking skills.\nThe ability to interpret blueprints.\nExcellent organizational skills.\nEffective communication skills.\nExceptional customer service skills.\nDetail-oriented.\nMust be 18 years of age or older.\nMust be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle & have a Driver’s license with a clean driving record.\nPreferred:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.\nMinimum of 4-5 years of experience in electrical estimating, with a focus on Wastewater Treatment projects\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
