The Superintendent will supervise entire electrical jobs while enforcing safety, executing approved procedures, and ensuring clean turnover documentation.\nEssential Job Responsibilities\nOversee management of all project craft employees.\nWork closely with the project management team to ensure adherence to the project schedule and budget.\nMaintain the electrical construction schedule for the entire project, ensuring its accuracy and relevance throughout the project lifecycle. Train foremen in ensuring a 3-week look-ahead schedule is developed, monitored, and adhered to accordingly.\nOversee procuring materials and equipment necessary for the project.\nEnsure that all work meets the required standards and compliances. Assist in the implementation of QA/QC programs.\nPromote and enforce safety standards on the project site. This includes conducting safety audits, providing safety training to staff, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. \nPromptly report any violations of policies, procedures, or safety guidelines to the appropriate parties. Ensure all employees within the team know and follow the company's safety, work rules, and policies.\nOversee field communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members. Attend meetings and ensure all parties are informed of project progress.\nOther duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.\nMinimum Required Qualifications:\n8+ years of experience in the electrical trade with at least 3 years working in data center construction.\nExperience managing projects with multiple crews of at least 150 craft employees.\nProficiency interpreting and comprehending electrical drawings, submittals, specifications, and BIM detailing is essential for this role.\nStrong organizational ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nKnowledge of electrical systems and industry standards.\nCommitment to safety and quality.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n10+ years of experience in electrical trades, specifically in data center construction.\nDevelop construction schedules for the overall project and continually monitor and adjust as needed.\nAbility to contribute to the installation or direct others through the installation and troubleshooting process.\nAbility to coordinate manpower needs.\nThe ability to coordinate or place material orders after a competition price comparison has been completed.\nMaintain compliance with company, state and OSHA safety standards.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
