This role ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, company standards, and client requirements. The Electrical Superintendent provides field leadership, supervises electrical crews and subcontractors, and serves as the primary point of contact for electrical operations in the field. \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities \nProject Execution \nLead daily electrical construction activities from project startups through commissioning and closeout. \nDevelop and manage short-term and long-term work plans to support project schedules and milestones. \nCoordinate manpower, equipment, tools, and materials required for project execution. \nMonitor productivity and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence. \nReview project drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and contract documents. \nCoordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution. \nIdentify and resolve field issues that may impact cost, quality, safety, or schedule. \nSafety Leadership \nChampion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company safety programs, OSHA regulations, and client requirements. \nConduct daily safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and site inspections. \nInvestigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions. \nEnsure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices. \nWorkforce Management \nSupervise electricians, foremen, apprentices, subcontractors, and temporary labor personnel. \nEstablish crew assignments and productivity expectations. \nMentor and develop field supervisors and craft personnel. \nConduct performance evaluations and provide coaching as needed. \nSupport workforce planning and recruitment efforts. \nQuality Control \nEnsure installations comply with applicable electrical codes, engineering specifications, and project quality standards. \nPerform field inspections and coordinate testing activities. \nMonitor workmanship and ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly. \nParticipate in commissioning, startup, and turnover activities. \nSchedule and Cost Management \nAssist in developing construction schedules and look-ahead plans. \nTrack labor hours, production rates, and resource utilization. \nReview daily reports, timekeeping records, and progress updates. \nIdentify potential cost overruns and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste. \nClient and Stakeholder Coordination \nRepresent the company professionally with clients, inspectors, engineers, and project stakeholders. \nAttend project meetings and provide status updates. \nCoordinate inspections with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). \nMaintain positive working relationships with clients and trade partners. \nRequired Qualifications \nHigh school diploma or GED required. \nJourneyman Electrician license preferred where applicable. \n7+ years of electrical construction experience. \n3+ years of supervisory or superintendent experience. \nStrong knowledge of commercial, industrial, utility, data center, mining, or energy electrical systems. \nComprehensive understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). \nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schedules, and technical documents. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and construction management software. \nPreferred Qualifications \nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field. \nOSHA 30 certification. \nNFPA 70E training. \nState electrical contractor or master electrician credentials. \nExperience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project. \nExperience in data center, heavy industrial, mining, telecommunications, renewable energy, or utility construction environments. \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities \nStrong leadership and team-building skills. \nExcellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities. \nAdvanced electrical construction knowledge. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. \nStrong organizational and planning skills. \nUnderstanding project budgeting and cost controls. \nAbility to make sound decisions under pressure. \nPhysical Requirements \nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. \nAbility to climb ladders, work at heights, and navigate active construction sites. \nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds. \nFrequent walking, standing,
