This position will be responsible for the duties listed below along with other related functions. Familiarity with piping is a must. A team-oriented mentality and the drive to continuously improve are what set the Loenbro team at the top of the industry. This position works closely with related engineering, construction, fabrication, and other departments to ensure that the team’s aligned goals are being met.\nEssential Job Responsibilities \nWeld Map Isometric drawings\nWeld & piping Inspections\nProject turnover experience\nEnter welding and inspection information into tracking tool\nAssist with pressure testing plans\nReview and File NDE/NDT Reports\nWork with NDE personnel for planning and execution of work\nAssemble and review project documentation packages\nPerform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance.\nTest welders and perform weld inspections\nReview welding requirements and ensure welding procedures comply\nCreate and implement Project Quality Assurance Plans\nProvide support and training to other inspectors\nWrite inspection and test plans (I&TP’s)\nCommitted to Loenbro’s core values and safety policies\nPlan and execute Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports\nOther duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequired:\nMechanical construction experience with piping systems, structural steel, fabrication, and equipment installation.\nCurrent AWS CWI or ASNT VT II certification\nStrong knowledge of NDT methods with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A training/hours\nExperience generating turnover packages\nProficiency in reading and interpreting drawings\nKnowledge of key Industry codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE)\n5+ years of Quality Control Inspector experience\nExperience working under a Quality Management Program\nAbility to communicate effectively and work in a team environment\nHigh organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
