This position will be responsible for the duties listed below along with other related functions. A team-oriented mentality and the drive to continuously improve is what sets the Loenbro team at the top of the industry. This position works closely with related engineering, construction, fabrication, and other departments to ensure that the team’s aligned goals are met. Employee will be expected to travel to remote jobs as needed throughout the intermountain region and possibly beyond\nJob Duties:\nPerform inspections including:Bolt Up inspections\nTorque Inspections\nPiping Walk-Downs for Punchlist\n\nEnter inspection information into tracking tools.\nAssist with pressure testing plans and functions.\nReview and File NDE/NDT Reports.\nWork with NDE personnel for planning and execution of work.\nAssemble and review project documentation packages.\nPerform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance.\nReview requirements and ensure procedures comply.\nCreate and implement Project Quality Assurance Plans.\nProvide support and training to other inspectors.\nWrite inspection and assess plans (I&TP’s).\nCommitted to Loenbro’s core values and safety policies.\nSkills/Qualifications:\nKnowledge of NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT) with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A documented training/hands on hours.\nWell-rounded with ASTM standards and materials.\nAWS CWI or ASNT VT II or ability to pass the VT II exam- preferred but not required\nEfficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.\nAbility to communicate effectively with co-workers Quality Control Inspector.\nExcellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.\nElevated level of organizational skills.\nExtensive knowledge of reading and understanding drawings.\nMust be a quick learner and motivated.\nAbility to travel and relocate as needed.\nInitiative-taking with the drive to learn and grow.\nMust be able to work as a team.\nWork Environment:\nThis position may require travel to various project sites.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.\nOccasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.\nPotential Hazards:\nOutside most of the time\nPotential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures\nManufacturing and refining environment\nFit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels\nLimited working surfaces\nExposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors\nExposure to areas with limited visibility\nClimbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)\nLifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time on a monthly basis for required tasks\nPotential or Periodic amounts of time for the following:\nIf driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required.
