This position will be responsible for planning, scheduling, employee oversite, and management of industrial mechanical construction projects up to $10M in value. Assists Project Manager in coordinating activities of employees engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications. This position is responsible for assisting craft supervision to coordinating activities of workers engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications. Must be able to pass pre-employment and on-going drug/alcohol testing.\nEssential Job Responsibilities\nReview project schedules with General Foreman / Foreman. Ensure that critical activities and decisions remain on schedule for the project management team.\nOversee field specific activities for industrial construction projects from setup to closeout related to the industries that Industrial Construction serves energy, power, mining, manufacturing, pharma, etc.\nDocument project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and provide to the project management team.\nRespond to subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule.\nSupervises the daily work of employees.\nVerifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements.\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequired:\nMinimum of 5 years of experience with piping systems in construction of industrial & Commercial projects.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing pipe craft trades.\nAbility to travel at least 75% of the time.\nDriver’s license with a clean driving record.\nPreferred:\nExperience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.\nExperience with P6 or similar scheduling software.\nExperience with Viewpoint or similar account software.\nExperience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.\nProficient with all Microsoft Office products.\nCompletion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
