This role works directly under the Project Cost Control Manager / Project Controls Manager and plays a key role in maintaining accurate job cost data, supporting forecasting efforts, and ensuring timely project reporting.\nThe ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in fast-paced, heavy construction environments across industries such as mission-critical, oil & gas, fabrication, and industrial services.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport job cost tracking, coding, and data entry within company systems\nAssist in maintaining accurate project cost reports, forecasts, and budgets\nWork within Vista (Viewpoint ERP) and other systems to input and validate financial data\nAssist in generating productivity and LEI reports, identifying trends and discrepancies\nSupport project billing, invoice tracking, and cost reconciliation\nHelp monitor project budgets vs. actual costs and flag variances\nAssist with change order tracking and documentation\nCompile and prepare weekly and monthly project reports for internal and client use\nCoordinate with project teams to gather cost, labor, and production data\nSupport project closeout activities, including cost reconciliation and final reporting\nEnsure data accuracy and compliance with company processes and procedures\nAssist with internal audits of project cost and reporting systems\nRequired Qualifications\n1-2 years of experience in project cost control, accounting, or project coordination within construction or industrial environments\nExperience with Vista (Viewpoint) or similar ERP systems\nFamiliarity with HCSS HeavyJob or similar job costing software\nBasic understanding of construction cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Accubid / HeavyBid or similar estimating tools\nExposure to P6 (Primavera) or project scheduling tools\nExperience supporting large-scale or “heavy” construction projects\nBackground in industries such as electrical, oil & gas, or industrial services\nWork Environment & Physical Demands\nThis role operates in both office and project site environments.
